| Some time in between us playing outside yesterday evening and lunchtime today, our nesting Mourning Dove became a Mommy with her two eggs hatching! The babies aren't chirping just yet, but I'm sure we'll hear them soon enough. The research I did says that the babies will stay in the nest for about 2 weeks. Wonder how big they'll get over the next 2 weeks!!! |

ReplyDeleteThanks Saleta! The birdies are getting BIG. I have a picture to post later today of the two babies when Momma flew away to get a snack (I think). Will is such a ham... cuter by the day... and more stubborn too! :)
