Exploring....the house and outdoors!

 We're still slowly coming to the realization that we WANT to hang things on nice, perfect walls in our new (ok, a few months old) house!  It's hard to decide to put holes in the wall when we KNOW we'll have to fill them in within a few years.  So that brings me to Will and his need for exploring all things new in the house.  I purchased a shelf to put pictures on in our living room and it's laying on the floor in front of it's final spot until we can get a few spare minutes to put it up.  Will has turned the box into his own little balance beam, and I must say, he's getting pretty good!

After our wonderful experienceWilliam B. Umstead state park last weekend, we decided to make the two hour drive and go for another hike in a different part of the forest.  We had a great time and went on another (probably longer) hike.  Will loves seeing the outdoors and asks to "touch" everything.  We're very fortunate to have a kid that seems to enjoy being around nature as much as we do.
